Established in 1994, the Lynnwood Police Officers Guild serves as the voice and advocate for the dedicated members of our police force. Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to support our officers, ensuring they have the resources, training, and representation needed to carry out their vital work.
The Lynnwood Police Department’s history is deeply rooted in our community. Since the city’s incorporation in 1959, when the first police chief handled everything from impounding stray dogs to chasing robbers, the department has grown into a full-service law enforcement agency with over 100 employees. Today, the Guild stands alongside our officers, helping them fulfill the department’s mission to provide proactive, competent, and effective public safety services with the highest regard for human dignity.
Our vision aligns with the department’s—to be recognized by the community as a key contributor to the quality of life in Lynnwood. We strive to lead with innovation, professionalism, and a commitment to positive change, continuously improving the support we provide to our officers and the services they deliver.
Through ethical service, professional development, and a strong partnership with the community, we remain committed to cultivating trust and fostering a safe and vibrant Lynnwood for all.
